Hemp FAQ

  • Are my results available quickly online?

Potency previews are made available for clients to view the same day testing is performed. Final release of the CoA will be released once all testing has been completed and previews have been reviewed and approved.

  • What's your distance range for sampling and doing these physical inspections?

We will travel up to 4 hours from our Marysville location to perform these services. We are limited only by the amount of time it will take to spend on the location sampling.

  • What’s the turnaround time?

Curing time is required for accurate hemp potency testing. Samples are obtained from a growing plant before harvest or curing takes place. Once hemp samples are received by the laboratory, we require up to 48 hours to dry the sample. Because of this, our turnaround time will be slightly longer than that for non-hemp samples.

For potency, test results can be expected within 5-6 business days.

For all other test packages, test results can be expected within 7-10 business days.

  • How easy is it for me to contact someone for questions and/or support?

During regular business hours, our staff is readily available to answer any questions via phone or email!

    Email: info@calaglabs.com

    Phone: (530) 599-9001

  • Why are some test packages reported to USDA/CDFA while others aren’t?

These governing bodies require submission of a total THC level prior to harvest of your industrial hemp crop. Some test packages offered are designed to provide you with results monitoring the THC content before the final analysis and submission takes place.

  • Is testing equipment state of the art? Downtime? Delays?

All of our testing equipment is state of the art. We currently utilize both Shimadzu and Agilent instruments for detailed analysis of all tests. We schedule routine downtime for maintenance to be performed on our equipment and notification of these delays will be provided if turnaround times will be affected.
