Week 1 and Week 2:

  • Hemp Baseline Soil Package: Analysis of soil samples to identify potential soil-related issues.
  • Hemp Baseline Water Package: Examination of water sources for potential contaminants that may impact the crop.
  • Visual Cultivation Plot Inspection: On-site inspection of the hemp cultivation plot to identify any visible issues or concerns.
  • Pests, Diseases, Neighboring Plots: Assessment of potential pests and diseases and examination of neighboring plots' impact on the crop.
  • Plant Count, Mapping, and Diagramming: Accurate counting, mapping, and diagramming of plants for precise tracking and planning.
  • Gathering Initial Statistical Data: Initial data collection to establish baseline statistics for the crop.
  • Determination of Statistically Significant Plants: Identification of significant plants for further analysis and monitoring.

Week 3:

  • Baseline Analysis of Young Hemp Crop: Analysis of young hemp plants for potency and early detection of contamination from soil, water, or neighboring plots.

Week 4 - Week 11:

  • Hemp Harvest Optimization Screening - Hemp Potency (Unofficial Compliance):
  • Detailed analysis of the cannabinoid profile, including THC, THCa, CBD, CBDa and other cannabinoids, to determine peak potency.
  • Monitoring THC content to ensure compliance with the 0.3% threshold.

Week 5:

  • Contamination Screening:
  • Identification of potential contamination issues, including pesticides, mycotoxins, and heavy metals.
  • Allowing time for any detected pesticides to vacate the plant.

Week 12 (approximately):

  • Hemp Pre-Harvest Compliance Full Panel (Total THC submitted to USDA / CDFA): Full compliance panel for USDA/CDFA submission, including full cannabinoid profile, pesticide analysis, mycotoxin screening, heavy metal testing, microbial analysis, water activity, foreign matter, and moisture content.
  • Hemp Final Product Compliance Full Panel (Not submitted to USDA / CDFA): Full compliance panel for the final hemp product, including full cannabinoid profile, pesticide analysis, mycotoxin screening, heavy metal testing, microbial analysis, water activity, foreign matter, and moisture content.
